Position: Oracle DBA 

Location:Sanjose, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills:

8+ years of Oracle DBA experience 

Experience in database administration working with a global team 

Database support experience on Unix, Windows operating systems 

Experience on AIX , Linux and Windows OS platforms 

Experience with upgrading Oracle databases from 10g to 11g 

Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager, Quest Foglight and/OR other database monitoring tools in must 

Should be a self starter 

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with good people skills. 

Knowledge of Systems Development  Life Cycle

Experience on Oracle RAC will be a plus

Oracle Database production/development support 

Availability of database servers , 

Data Protection and Recoverability, 

Security of Data and Database System 

Performance management , Database Designing , Data Integrity , 

Analysis /debug day to day issues and resolve, 

Support project activities in areas of application supported 

Database refreshes/upgrades/patching/monitoring
