eSync Health Portal is an innovative and robust application that is used to maintain the patient Personal Health Records. I worked on different modules and performed System Testing/Integration Testing/ Regression Testing and E2E Testing.

Summary
Our client is currently seeking a VB Programmer for a 4-6 month contract. This is a hands-on development position requiring strong programming skills and data integration experience with SQL Server. We are looking for a seasoned, quality-minded, passionate programmer to help stabilize and automate a code based maintained by our CRM Data Services team.
Primary Tasks
1. Clean-up existing code that handles file copying and validation.
2. Add additional exception/error handling and notifications to existing code base.
3. Design and develop code to log and report file processing results.
4. Design and develop code to log and report data processing results.
5. Design and develop code to log and report data validation results.
6. Re-design the existing code base into smaller, component-based processes.
7. Automate execution of code base through a component-based scheduler.
8. Set-up Subversion to handle version control of code: check-out, check-in, revision history, etc.
9. Update code base to allow for dynamic re-processing of data loads.
10. Prepare and run test cases on newly developed code to ensure quality.
11. Create or update all design and programming documentation.
Qualifications
· 5+ yearsof programming experience with Visual Basic or VB.NET using Visual Studio tools.
· At least one VB development project within the last year.
· 3+ years of experience with MS SQL Server 2008 and ADO or ADO.NET
· Excellent software design and documentation skills.
· Working knowledge of best practices around quality assurance (QA) including system and unit testing.
· Working knowledge of flexible application frameworks that maximize reusability, parameterization, and process automation.
· Working knowledge of database designs and loading processes. SSIS experience a plus!
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a corporate environment.
Required Education or Equivalent Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or qualified programming experience
