SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST
- Developed, executed, and maintained manual test cases for new and enhanced software releases to evaluate system functionality, performance, and defects for a web based application
- Verification of backend database updates using SQL for data extracts from Oracle databases using TOAD
- Reporting, Tracking, and reviewing defects using Quality Center 9.2
- Develop and maintained directory of SQL Queries for testing team utilization for all Back-End testing
- Participated in system specification meetings, team meetings, status meetings, coordinated with developers and team members
- Reviewed testing requirements to develop and execute scripts for positive and negative test scenarios, conduct baseline testing for management reporting.
- Developed and presented knowledge transfer to offshore transition testing resources for assigned testing modules
· Analyze application, system, and security errors for the escalation of issues to the developers and verifies fixes.
· Co-ordinate the scheduling of System Downtime testing to ensure the proper handling of messages for assigned modules
· Conduct peer review of test cases to ensure functional requirement are covered for the documented business designs specifications.
· Simulated the testing of integrated applications using XML test harness and FTP tools for system testing.

Optum Health Care Solutions is enhancing infrastructure for client private portals to meet customer and operational demands for an integrated consumer experience as well as reduce ongoing operating costs.
eSync Health Portal is an innovative and robust application that is used to maintain the patient Personal Health Records. I worked on different modules and performed System Testing/Integration Testing/ Regression Testing and E2E Testing.
Performed the following tasks:
- Attended Requirement Review meeting with Business Users and Developers and provided feedback comments.
- Involved in creating and updating the Regression and End-to-End Test Plans.
- Gave an overview of Test Plans in Test Plan Review meetings to get them signed off.
- Interacted with Subject matter Experts (SMEs) and Development teams to identify and refine test requirement.
- Involved extensively in the migration work from Test Director 8.2 to Quality Center 9.0.
- Analyzed the Test Scenarios based on the Business Requirements and Use-Cases.
- Developed Traceability matrix from Requirements document and detailed design.
- Developed Test Cases, created Test Sets, linked them with requirements and executed Test Cases in Quality Center and Test Director.
