Video Architect – Consulant

Philadelphia, PA

Long Term Contract/Full Time.

 

• Experience in architecting, implementation & roll-out of STB applications (Voice, Video, Data), B/OSS solutions for cable service providers
• Hands on with cable Plants and controllers (DAC and DNCS) as well the networks that support them (ex. Motorola ALOHA / Scientific Atlanta DAVIC networks).
• Experience in Tru2Way, EBIF, Cablecard technologies, iTV Applications deployment
• Experience in VOD systems Seachange, Tandberg and Concurrent
• Experience in providing IT solutions for cable operators from Concept to development to roll-out in the Video services
• Experience in cross functional architecture and technology & solution thought leadership
• Good Knowledge of Cable Service Provider BSS, OSS, IT, and Eng standards (TMF, ITIL, IETF, IEEE, ITU-T, 3GPP)
• Familiarity with cable set-top devices, applications and middleware technologies (Motorola, Scientific Atlanta, Panasonic
• Working experience with Cable modems, eMTAs, and STBs
