Job Description:

 

  • Collaborate with the Business to initiate and foster relationships with finance business managers to understand their business requirements, develop a common view of their business processes as they apply to the implementation of PeopleSoft HR modules.
  • Lead configuration for PeopleSoft HR, including the following modules, HR, Benefit Administration,  Pension Administration, ePerformance, Time & Labor, Talent Management, and Learning Management.
  •  Provide support of these modules during roll out. Work with functional users to complete go-live checklists including data  conversion and validation. Provide status updates to Project Manager and project  team throughout conversion to PeopleSoft.
  •  Job requires a bachelor's degree in Business Management,  Industrial Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, HR  Administration, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired;
  •  8 to 10  years of experience in Business analysis, business process management, implementing business processes, gathering business requirements for PeopleSoft implementation and solving business problems with these modules.
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of experience with PeopleSoft  HR
  • Modules. Experience with Finance and/or Supply Chain is a big plus.

  • Management and troubleshooting of PeopleSoft HR 9.1 including configuration, data transformation, documentation, interfaces, testing, test scripts and customizations.
  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis of business systems

  • Experience in using PeopleTools, NVision and configuration of  PeopleSoft  HR modules
  • Demonstrable business process analysis skills

POSITION OVERVIEW:
  •  
  • ·         Provide systems management support for the VG Middleware (J2EE Platforms) ST, QA and production environments
  • ·         Strong knowledge of J2EE Architecture, Weblogic Application server, Apache WebServer
  • ·         Provide support for Middleware related problems, including HTTP Servers, WebLogic Servers 
  • ·         Identify and successfully troubleshoot problems. Work across EHS  teams to ensure problems get resolved.
  • ·         Monitor infrastructure capacity. Provide capacity analysis and recommend J2EE, Database, and OS turning and upgrade recommendations
  • ·         Work with other teams to improve security, performance, backup strategies and administration.
  • ·         Identify repeatable tasks and automate them.
  • ·         Create and maintain technical documentation including startup and shutdown and maintenance procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (5 years mandatory minimum experience):
 
  • ·         WebLogic Administration
  • ·         J2EE development experience (understanding of J2EE Software Architecture) a plus.
  • ·         SOA development experience a plus.
  • ·         Clear understanding of the J2EE software architecture and standards (requirement) and how it relates to the various Middleware (J2EE) platforms and APIs.
  • ·         Strong shell scripting and unix utility scripting experience.
  • ·         Knowledge and/or experience in migrating software, and the deployed J2EE applications to a later version of WebLogic, preferably 10.x.
  • ·         Knowledge and experience in configuring proxy plug-ins for WebLogic.

  • ·         The ability to provide senior level implementation and administration of enterprise Java middleware environments with minimal supervision.

Location : McKinney, TX

Duration: 7 months


DESCRIPTION :

             Installation, configuration, testing and training in Test/Production for the PeopleSoft ELM module.   Perform data transfer from HRMS HR and the ELM module, for constant communication between both sets of databases, within the Production environment, as well as the Testing environment.   Design, develop and implementation of custom modification and system processes defined through pre-implementation meetings performed under start of project.
