{Weblogic_Jobs} REQ: Oracle Developer - Atlanta, GA - 3 months

Hello

Please let me know if you have candidates available for this position.

Also I need their rate, location and availability.

Position: Oracle developer

Duration: 3 Months +

Location: Atlanta, GA

Rate: Open

Oracle , with experience with Forms and PL/SQL package development.

Client’s system was uplifted from Oracle 8i/Forms6 3 years ago to Oracle 10g rac/Forms10 platform, but the skillset needed is based on legacy system codebase, hence having experience in older forms development/maintenance and extended PL/SQL package development/maintenance is what they are looking for (not DBA/tuning levels, but those are a plus if they provide the core required.

The consultant may be required to provide some depth/assistance to current Forms programmer to help with backlog of various system bugs/enhancements that would  range for simple (1day) to more complex

Additional information from the Client:

Yrs. Experience -> I would say between 7 and 10 (we don’t want someone still wet behind the ears)

Oracle Forms and Reports -> A working knowledge would be good, don’t need expert, they have had a few years’ experience in both forms and reports (tying in the system was uplifted from Forms 6i platform), recent experience in 10g forms.

PL/SQL -> We could drop some of the forms knowledge requirements if they were more proficient in the PL/SQL area, they need extensive knowledge in PL/SQL, using newer features of new PL/SQL (10g), syntax, features, etc., they need to have worked with packages, building new ones, and re-working old ones.  Worked with procedures, functions, and triggers.

10g experience, I would expect a couple of years at least, know about different schema, sql tuning, use of indexes and how to decipher the reasons for slowdowns in performance..…..

 Thanks,

Ray A.
