Job title: Business Analyst
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 2-4 Months Contract
Start: Immediate

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or higher.
Minimum of 5 years practical experience.
5+ years experience working with SQL, SQL Server, and a reporting tool such as Cognos.

Requirements and General Skills:

Conduct data pulls and perform customized data analysis.
Work with the data warehouse and/or non-BI data sources to perform investigations.
Develop rapid understanding of business issues and determine the data needed to support investigations and/or reporting to support those issues.
Analyze requirements for and develop OEM, Retail, Listener Care, Subscriber Analytics, Finance, Marketing, and Revenue Assurance

Reporting and Investigations as assigned
Develop and automate reporting packages for multiple audiences; critical success factors include the abilities to:
Understand all relevant data sources
Extreme attention to details and data accuracy
Provide complete reporting solutions using data analysis and SQL data mining techniques
Work independently and research innovative solutions to challenging technical problems

Technical Skills:
Excellent understanding of navigating  data warehouses and relational database structures
Excellent understanding of report development and data delivery
Excellent SQL skills
Demonstrated ability to work with business stakeholders to provide high-quality business intelligence reporting
Excellent communication and motivation skills, and ability to interact appropriately with colleagues, vendors, and partners
Strong skills with Teradata, SQL Server, SQL languages and tools, Cognos, Hyperion Essbase and other reporting tools
