Position: Java Developer with JSR
Duration: 12 months.
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA
Project description: This project will provide AMS support for a statewide Unemployment Compensation and Management Services system.
JSR is Must required
The Application Developer will apply technical expertise / capabilities and Java development skills to design and develop efficient software solutions across all layers of the UCMS application, based upon client's business requirements; Analyze customer requirements; Work closely with the Lead Developer, Architect, and DBA to implement component designs for Domain Objects, Data Access Services, Functional components, and Portlets, relative to a common business area; Verify the accuracy and validity of all software developed; Create unit and integration test scenarios, facilitating a test-driven environment; Prepare all required documentation indicating system functionality.
Required skills:
- experience performing complex analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation
- experience performing as a technical resource or developer for a large team
- Java development with RAD / Eclipse
- Web Services development skills
- Knowledge of pattern-based, object-oriented development (sp., MVC)
- Experience with ORM and DI frameworks, specifically Spring / Hibernate
- Understanding of the JSR-168 specification
- XML
- Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Nice to have skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Familiarity with Federal Accessibility Standards (Section 508)
- Rational ClearCaseTM
- Experience with entity Relationship Diagram
